Philadelphia - At Night

After our Independence Hall tour, we decided to get some ice cream before having an early dinner with Tom and Danielle at Barbuzzo Mediterranean Kitchen and Bar, located at 110 South 13th Street. The food was brilliant and the portions were not too large - which gave us the opportunity to sample different dishes. The mussels and noodle paella are to die for.

Since the weather was good, we decided to take some night photos after dinner. We headed towards City Hall and Broad Street. Below are some of the night shots I took during our last night in Philly. I hope you like them as much as I enjoyed taking them. :)

This shot was taken from Broad Street (South). Apparently, this is quite a popular sight for an outdoor photo shoot. A wedding couple was taking their photos with City Hall in the background before I took this shot.

The Love Park was really beautiful at night, with its fountain and muted lighting. It’s looked dull during the day.

The Masonic Temple is one of my favourite buildings apart from City Hall. Taking a good shot of the Masonic Temple is a challenge for me – with all the traffic on the road.

The doorman at Loewe’s hotel tipped us to go all the way up to the 33rd storey if we want to get a good view of the city skyline. He was right and I was glad that we took his advice. It would have been better if we had access to the rooftop!
